This weekend marks the closing of the 2012 Summer Olympics. We’ve been thoroughly enjoying this year’s competition and have been celebrating with a stogie in hand. In fact, we just finished watching the USA women’s team take the gold for football (soccer). Care to join us? You may not be a gold medalist, but hey, you are one heck of an aficionado. A cigar’s tobacco builds its flavor profile based on the soil, climate and technique specific to each region. Before picking up your next stogie, learn a little about the background of it and find similar choices from the same region. Need some help? Tony of Broadway Cigar suggests Honduran cigars while Jason of Broadway Cigar prefers Nicaragua cigars. Whatever you prefer, it is likely that you will be partial to other ‘gars from that same region.
