You, or someone who obviously adores you, have already succeeded in taking the first step by visiting Broadway Cigar for the best selection of fine smokes. The next steps go as follows:
2. We strongly recommend storing your newly found obsessions in a humidor if you have more than you could enjoy within a few days. This keeps the leaves from drying out, protecting the flavor of the cigar.
3. You’ll need a cigar cutter to cut the head of the cigar. This is the closed end that you’ll pull from once it’s lit. Do not cut into the body of the cigar or it may unravel.
4. Light that bad boy up. We recommend using a butane lighter for an efficient torch that won’t impose other flavors. Using your index and thumb finger, grab the band of the cigar and place the stick just above the tip of the flame, making sure they don’t actually connect. Slowly puff and rotate the cigar until edge glows and the draw flows.
5. Draw in the smoke and taste the flavors, but don’t inhale. Rotate the smoke at least every 60 seconds to promote an even burn and resist the urge to shake the ash until it’s between .5 and 1 inch long.
The last step is simple: savor every second of that sucker and if you have any other questions, come down to the lounge where our knowledgeable staff can walk you through it.
